UMR Agap Institute presents at the Symposium «Salute e tempi di agrumi»

The Structure évolutive des agrumes, polyploïdie et amélioration génétique (SEAPAG) team from UMR Agap Institut took part in a symposium dedicated to the health uses of citrus fruits, « Salute e tempi di agrumi », organized by the Careggi University Hospital in Florence (Italy).

The 24th Rencontres HélioSPIR took place on June 13 and 15, 2023 at Agropolis International. More than 130 people from the public and private sectors attended the 32 papers and 12 practical sessions, and took part in round-table discussions with the Groupe Français de Chimiométrie (GFC).

Montpellier Vine & Wine Sciences International seminar

In cooperation with scientists from USA (University of California Davis, Cornell University), South Africa (Stellenbosch University) and Chile (Universidad de Chile, INIA La Platina), the Key Initiative (KIM) Montpellier Vine & Wine Sciences, supported by the University of Montpellier, and its partners INRAE and Institut Agro Montpellier, organized a 3-days scientific seminar (october 11-13, 2022) on the campus Institut Agro-INRAE of Montpellier.

Agap Institute at the International Horticultural Congress 2022

AGAP Institute teams - Architecture and flowering of fruit species (AFEF), Biological Resource Centre for tropical plants in the West Indies (CRB-PT), Determinism, Expression and Functioning of Traits of Interest in Yam (DEFI), Banana genetics and breeding (GABA), Phenotyping and Modeling of Plants in their Agro-climatic ENvironment (PhenoMEn) and Citrus evolution, polyploidy and breeding (SEAPAG) - were present in Angers from August 14 to 19, 2022 during the XXI International Horticultural Congress which brought together 2,500 people. One PhD received Young Mind Awards, and two seniors were honored with an introductory lecture and a “Fellow Award”.
